Big Hearts, Empty Accounts

As many of you know, Melissa recently traveled to Mississippi to meet our main rescue partner there.  As many of you also know and can attest personally, Melissa has a huge heart for these pups.  Between Melissa and Ross, CCNE has now been afflicted with something that happens to all rescues at one time or another -- our hearts were bigger than our bank account.  We need to ask for some help to help us save all these wonderful pups.  From leg amputations from horrific injuries, to jaw plates required after a vicious dog attack, to a senior golden needing special care, to several heartworm positive dogs requiring treatment before starting their new lives ... we have put ourselves on the line for several thousands of dollars of care.  On top of it, word comes that one of our fosters was rushed to the emergency room last night and has a bill of $1600 and counting as they stabilize her and figure out what is going on with her.  Please consider making a donation of any amount to help us keep helping these deserving, loving dogs.  We don't ask for help often, but after several months of unforeseen medical expenses this summer, we had depleted our emergency funds to the point that we truly ... well ... maybe shouldn't have said yes to so many who need so much, but we just couldn't say no, knowing we have an amazing community of dog lovers who might be willing to help us get through this rough patch.  I'm afraid we won't be able to commit to any other dogs until we know we have these bills covered, so any help you can give would be so gratefully, gratefully appreciated.  THANK YOU!!!
