La Vara, Txikito, El Quinto Pino, & Saint Julivert

To our dear friends and neighbors: Please help us support the staff of La Vara, Txikito, El Quinto Pino, and Saint Julivert.
The devastating impact of COVID-19 on our businesses cannot be overstated. The pressing need for social distancing required a citywide ban on dine-in restaurants that has rendered our businesses impracticable and our entire team of 60 out of work.
While we are looking for governmental leadership at all levels, many in our community have asked how they can help. The best way to support us right now is to lift up our team. We owe so much to people that show up each day and share our story. They aren't used to asking for help, so we'd like to do it for them. 100% of proceeds will directly go to our staff.
Our first priority will be to support the most vulnerable people in our organization. These folks are incredibly hardworking but may not be eligible for unemployment benefits. Our goal is to help sustain them and their families until they are able to return to work with us. Of course our entire staff will feel the strain of this difficult time and we will be offering aid to all who need it.
We are so grateful for your support and solidarity. Please be safe and take care of yourselves. We will be here for your future meals and celebrations when the time is right. Thank you.
