Sadly on the 17/01/2024 we suddenly lost our amazing Debbie at the tragic age of 40. Debbie has left behind her beautiful 16 year old daughter Erin, her mum Patrica and brother Anthony.
Debbie had left her flat and was meeting her mum to go the shops together, on her way around she started to feel faint and collapsed, her amazing neighbours came running out, performing CPR and brought her back around while they waited for an ambulance, if it hadn’t been for Jenny, Carol, Stephen, and Julie, my Mum wouldn’t have got to hold Debbie’s hand as she slipped away, and it meant Debbie wasn’t on her own at the end, something we will always be grateful for. Despite the best efforts from Jenny, the paramedics on the scene, and in A&E, Debbie had sadly passed away.
Debbie had been complaining about pains in her leg and a shortness of breath but being so stubborn she would not go the doctors despite being told numerous times. The initial thoughts of the doctor is blood clots had travelled up her leg and into her lungs restricting the blood flow and oxygen to the brain. It now been confirmed it was a pulmonary embolism.
Debbie was unique, a character, outspoken at times but always true to herself and she loved her friends and family, she was definitely a chip of the old block when it came to her Dad, they are back together again.
Debbie was a big part of the community who frequently fundraised for our local charity Flame Spirit, taking part in white collar boxing, bike rides, football, talent night..the list goes on.
We would like to show our support to the family. All donations welcome.
