Team Tracy

Hi everyone, we are starting this go fund me page for our sister Tracy Lauderdale. She has recently been diagnosed with moderate differentiated squamous cell carcinoma  (oral cancer) stage 4. It is a rapid growing cancer that has decided to take residency in the left side of her cheek and neck. We have been blessed to be able to have Dr Kaplan at Stanford Medical Center who will be her surgeon. Dr. Kaplan will perform surgery on her this Friday to remove the cancer and at the same time a plastic oral surgeon will come in and reconstruct what they have to remove. Insurance covers the main portion of the surgery and reconstruction surgery but it does not cover the cosmetic portion which are the dental implants that she will need to replace the teeth that must be taken. The healing process will be long ,Tracy will also  have to under go both radiation and chemotherapy.  We as a family have decided to set up this fund account for her so that we can make sure there is enough money to pay for the reconstruction that she will need.  Thank you for any help you can give and please share.
