Ty Aumann's road to recovery.

We're calling on our Buona Forchetta Family and San Diego community to help us raise funds for one of our own, Ty Aumann. Ty is a server at Buona Forchetta San Marcos and Buona Forchetta Encinitas. Ty was in a severe car accident on June 3, and although he is now stable in the surgical ICU, he has suffered devastating injuries.

Ty's injuries are a broken mandible, nine fractured ribs, a severely dislocated hip, and both of his legs and knees have been shattered from top to bottom. After a successful and lengthy surgery, Ty is lucky to be alive. With that said, he has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead of him. He will have to relocate to a rehabilitation center after leaving the hospital. His doctors have stated that he will not have the capacity to work for a minimum of one year.

Ty is a 24-year-old college graduate. He graduated from San Diego State on May 13th, 2023, with a bachelor's degree in real estate. Ty worked very hard and self-funded his education with his Buona Forchetta earnings. Ty is loved by many and is known for his relentless work ethic, coaching youth soccer, and his love and devotion to his family.

Buona Forchetta is committed to reaching the fundraising goal we've laid out for Ty. The funds raised will go directly to Ty for medical expenses, and to support him while he is unable to work for the upcoming year.
