Ty Nieman Family

Hi, my name is Natalie Rempel and I am wanting to help raise funds for my cousin Ty Nieman and his family.

Ty suffered an ischemic stroke on 5-24-23. He is currently at KU Med and he is making great gains considering all his body has been through.

Ty is only 38, so as you can imagine having a stroke was a very unwelcome diagnosis for Ty, his wife Keely, and their 2 beautiful daughters Charlotte and Clara Grace.

The medical team is still trying to figure out what caused the blood clots. Ty’s greatest limitation at this time is his speech. He understands everything that is said to him but it is challenging for him to get his own words out. The doctors are very optimistic he will have a full recovery with time.

The Nieman family so appreciates all of your prayers and they ask for those to keep being sent up. If it is within your means, a monetary donation would be welcomed as Ty will be unable to work for some time as his job is very physically demanding. The money will go towards medical expenses and supporting himself and his 3 favorite ladies in his life.

***UPDATE 5-30-23***

Ty will be starting physical therapy today. He had a little set back the last couple days with some swelling on the brain. The part of the brain the blood clot was, is very close to the part that controls his left arm and leg. He continues to have some issues with his speech as well. The doctors continue to be hopeful for a good recovery with time. As always, all prayers are welcomed and we are grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
