Duathlon for NICU

Hi our names are Shane,Claire & Shéa and this is our story......

On the 12th of April 2021 our little girl/sister couldnt wait any longer and came hurtling into the world at 11.23am a full three months early. Evie weighed 2lbs 7oz and faced a tough road to get herself home.

The Neo Natal Unit in Drogheda became our second home but after 100 days Evie finally made it home. We had many ups and downs while in NICU but the care we and Evie got was second to none.

We as a family are forever indebted to the staff of the NICU for the expertise, compassion and care they gave Evie during her stay.

For that reason, Shane (along with help from a few others) will be undertaking an 100km Duathlon to raise much needed funds for the unit.

Two local charities will benefit too, Errigal Truagh Special Needs & Alzhemiers Monaghan.
