Ohio All-Star Wrestling Team

Hi Everyone-

My name is Ty Daugherty and I was recently selected to be a part of the 2018  Ohio All-Star Wrestling team.  

The chance to wrestle on the Ohio All-Star team is a great honor. I was selected, along with 21 others, to be a part of this 40-day cultural exchange wrestling tour. We are scheduled to compete with other All-Star teams in California, Utah, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado and Vancouver, Canada. This will mark the team’s 36th Anniversary. Since 1983, more than 600 (my dad was on the team in 1992) of some of the top youth wrestlers from Ohio and the East Coast have represented this team. 

I feel that this type of learning experience will help me not only in my future wrestling career but also in my daily life. I am eager to represent my state and community.  If you have a moment, I would appreciate the opportunity to tell you more about what wrestling means to me and the benefits of the Ohio All-Star wrestling tour.  My family has been gracious enough to fund most of the expenses for the trip this summer.  However, I wanted to establish this page to help contribute to the cost incurred and "earn" my keep.  I thank you in advance for any donations you are able to contribute helping to support my trip this summer.
