Tyler Blackwell accident expenses

Hey, my name is Brittany & I am fundraising for Tyler Blackwell & family. On August 19, Tyler (18) was involved in a life altering motorcycle accident. He had to be life flighted to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he was treated for numerous injuries including two brain bleeds (currently healing), a concussion, a laceration on his head, a broken shoulder, a broken hand (which will require surgery), a broken tailbone, & left side weakness. He was in ICU for 3 days & was moved to the trauma unit (a step down from ICU) where he will remain until he is able to go home. It is possible that he has slight brain damage, but it's unsure since he has been on medicine this entire time. Tyler will have a lot of physical therapy ahead of him & doctors say that it could take anywhere from 3 months to a year to recover. His mother, Amber Pendley, has been with him at the hospital the entire time. Tyler's father, Lee Blackwell, has been commuting back and forth between being at the hospital with Tyler, taking care of Tyler's sister, Samantha, and working. Amber hasn't been to work & Lee has been missing work to be able to be with Tyler. This fundraiser is to help pay for medical expenses that insurance won't cover, supplies & materials to make adjustments on the house (due to Tyler's injuries), food, gas, and help with everyday bills.
