Tyler Broke Both Wrists & Needs Our Help!

Hey friends & strangers!

Tyler Gentry needs our help! First and foremost, he did not ask for this, and I am just a friend of his who is setting this up on his behalf.

Tyler is an amazing human being with a beautiful smile and a huge heart! He lives in Colorado Springe, Co, which naturally makes him a fiend for adventure! Unfortunately, that search for adrenaline and the desire to continue learning and exploring more about himself and the world have recently led to a devastating and life-changing injury for Tyler.

A few weeks ago, Tyler experienced one of the worst nightmares of even the most experienced skydivers. While attempting to land, he was suddenly blown off course by an unexpected gust of wind (if you know Colorado, you know those winds can be extremely fierce and seemingly come out of nowhere). The harsh wind slammed Tyler into the earth, causing both of his hands to hit the ground with enormous force, ultimately breaking both of his wrists upon impact. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery to repair as much of his bones, ligaments, and tendons as possible with the implantation of 2 metal plates and 12 pins & screws.

While the overall prognosis is good, thank God, Tyler will be recovering for a minimum of 3-4 months before he is able to return to his work as a dental hygienist. In the meantime, he is unable to drive, work, or perform any of the normal, mundane activities that we all take for granted on a daily basis. Obviously, this will have an extremely negative effect on Tyler‘s income, putting him at risk for possible eviction from his home, etc.

This is the part where we can all come together to help out a friend, a stranger, a brother in Christ, a beloved member of the LGBTQ+ community, a fellow human being who is struggling (as we all have). Tyler is one of the most humble, kind people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, and I would like to graciously ask for any financial assistance that you may be able to provide for him during this difficult season.

All proceeds raised will go directly to Tyler to help cover his living expenses (about $2,500/month currently) and any medical bills/further treatment he will require.
