Tyler Cochran, young father battled rare Sarcoma
My son Tyler Cochran (31 years old) was diagnosed with a rare and extremely aggressive cancer in November 2020. The journey so far has been filled with ups and downs but so many blessings from God. His wife Brooke (28 years old) takes care of him and their daughter Sophie (15 months) full time. Our family had no warning that our life was about to be turned completely upside down. From the beginning, it has been a hard fight that keeps getting harder. Every time we think we see the light at the end of the tunnel, something else is thrown at us. Tyler had 9 weeks of unsuccessful chemotherapy, extensive surgery that left cancer behind, and currently trying palliative radiation. The doctors say he’s medically incurable. His family and all who love him aren’t giving up hope. We know that we serve a mighty God much bigger and better than any doctor or medical intervention could ever be. Tyler is unable to work because of the cancer but God has provided for his family through donations from his family and friends. Taking these donations has been hard for Brooke but she knows that these gifts are from God. She is doing what she can to support them financially by providing childcare to her niece and starting a small business of children’s activities but it is not enough. There are medical expenses from his treatments and Tyler is now hospitalized due to a collapsed lung. The most pressing need that Tyler's family has is not having funds to pay their daily regular expenses of insurance, utilities, and basic necessities. My son grieves because he is unable to provide for his sweet little family. My family covets your prayers, but understands that sometimes God lays it on people’s hearts to help in various ways. If God is laying it on your heart to help my family by giving a donation, please do what you feel led to do and to God be the glory. If you can only pray, we will be forever grateful.
Update: Tyler went peaceful to heaven on Saturday 4/24/2021 at 5:21 surrounded by his wife, and his parents. He has no more pain and is now in the presence of Our Lord and Savior.
