Tyler Deason's Journey to Cancer Free

It is with a heavy heart, that we reach out to you, friends, family and community.  A long time member of our valley was hit with life changing news on July 31st, 2019. Tyler Deason, of Gold Bar Wa, was diagnosed with an extremely rare bone cancer, called Ewing Sarcoma. It affects the ages 5-20 years old and travels through the blood stream, possibly attacking the organs. Fortunately, for Tyler, it has been isolated to his right foot and at this point, has not spread.

Tyler began the most aggressive chemotherapy treatment that Children's Hospital administers, August 16, 2019, just two weeks after his diagnosis.  
For Tyler and his twin brother, Cody Deason, it is their senior year at Sultan High School and had planned to graduate with the class of 2020. Because of treatment, side affects and his path to healing, Tyler will not be attending school with his brother Cody.
 
The Deason family is still struggling to recover from their oldest son, Anthony's,  devastating car accident from June 13th where he too, was hospitalized. 

Tyler's parents, Matt and Maggie Deason, have put life on hold to focus on Tyler's road to recovery. Between appointments, medical bills, loss of income, gas money and everything else that comes with such a tragedy, the Deason family needs our help.
