Tyler Geddes Eagle Scout Project

Hi,

My name is Tyler Geddes, I am a Boy Scout in Troop 173 of Parsippany, New Jersey. I’m currently working on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. To obtain this rank I will be assisting Morris County Park Commission by building and installing four park benches at Tourne County Park. I estimate the total amount of funds to be raised to be $600. Three of the four benches are being replaced due to the older benches at the park being worn down and unsafe for park visitors who come to bike, picnic, hike, and etc. The new benches will also help prevent injuries for those who came to walk the trail and are more stable because they will be set in concrete.

To be able to complete this project for the rank of Eagle Scout, I am seeking funds that will help pay for all the materials and supplies needed to build the benches and complete the project. All excess funds will be donated to the Morris County Park Commission.
