The money raised here will go to help make the next part of Tylers journey as comfortable and engaging as possible. Last December this 14 year old was diagnosed with a rare and inoperable brain tumor. While a trial did help keep the tumor from growing, it is now affecting this sweet boy. For kids with this cancer, there is generally a period where they are trapped in their body and unable to communicate what they need or want.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the GoFundMe. Alicia has been able to with the help of this GoFundMe and foundation secure a an iPad for Tyler to be able to communicate using his eyes. We have also been able to secure some money so that we can get him some aids that could help him get around a little bit better in the house and around. We are still looking into aids that will allow him to continue to use his legs and move about as if he’s walking. We also want to provide a series of other things, including pillows to help him adjust and to ensure that he doesn’t get bad sores as well as items for around the house that bring him Joy, his favorite foods, and anything else that brings him comfort in this time. we will attempt to apply for funding for some of this as well through various foundations and we hope to get the rest through this gofund me. Anything additional will go to help the family.
