Tyler Butler-Figueroa Violinist Leukemia Survivor

Tyler is 11 years old, a rising 6th grader, Leukemia Cancer Survivor and violinist! Tyler was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.) at the age of 4 1/2, went 3 years of Chemo and is now 4 years in remission. Tyler was bullied in school by classmates when his hair began to come out due to the chemotherapy. Tyler has been playing the violin for 4 years, a means of therapy for him, but you can't tell it if you ever got a chance to hear him play! Tyler wants to be a professional violinist or a Doctor. Tyler made the journey to Charlotte NC this past December to try out for America's Got Talent tv show from the tips that he earned by street performing. Tyler auditioned for the celebrity judges and his performance earned him a "Golden Buzzer" that sends a select few of the contestants straight to the Live Rounds where they will compete  and viewers can vote to send their favorite contestant to the next round for a possible chance to win the prize of One Million Dollars. Tyler still street performs downtown Raleigh NC when he is on a break from school to try to earn money to cover travel expenses for his little brother Adam to travel with Tyler and Mom to California for his performances on the show. Tyler wants to earn money to get music equipment, help towards their monthly bills while traveling to make Tyler's dream come true. Tyler also wants to save for his college fund and to get some major repairs done on his mom's truck to have reliable transportation back. Mom had just received her Real Estate license when Tyler decided to pursue his dream of being on the t.v. show to show the world his talent, but put it on hold to support her son.
