Tyler's Army

Tyler is someone who you would want to be a part of your life forever. He is a true friend that is always there when you need him. Whether it comes to moving a box, being there for his best friends family during hard times, or being apart of "girl talk" just to give a guys opinion. He is someone who is very family oriented who is known for constantly saying "step mom holds it down", who believes in family dinner and continuously puts his family first. Tyler brings the voice of reason to any situation while also bringing the humor that everyone needs. Tyler continuously talks about building bikes with his dad and going riding with his friends.

On Tuesday August 20, 2024 Tyler was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He was driving down the street with his bestfriend by his side when he did not believe that he was going to make a turn in time, resulting in him breaking causing the bike to go into a curb and Tyler to go off of the bike. He was found by two close friends in the woods, barely responding at the time. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. As a result of the accident he is in the hospital with a brain bleed, severe concussion, fractured collar bone, fractured nose, as well as multiple facial and skull fractures. He also is still unsure what happened and why he is there. Due to these injuries he will be out of work for a extended period of time. Despite everything that has happened and the condition that he is still in Tyler is already talking about fixing his bike and riding with his friends again.

Tyler close friends and family have decided to help him in the best way they know how, by turning to their community and incorporating something that he still loves, motorcycles. On top of the creation of the GoFundMe a event will be held for Tyler on September 22, 2024 (rain date September 29). The event will start at Bad Mouth Bikes in Warwick and will end at Kingstown Bowl in North Kingstown. Tickets are 25$ a person which includes access to a buffet and a soft drink. Located at the event there will be a 50/50, baskets, Del's truck and DJ (all proceeds from ticket sales, 50/50 and baskets will go towards Tyler with 50% of Del's sales going to him as well). Proceeds will be going towards helping him with medical bills, daily living expenses while being out of work and rebuilding his bike.
