Tylers Hit and Run Recovery
Donation protected
On Sunday, March 3rd Tyler Lanier, aged 25, was walking home from a local establishment when he was struck by a vehicle, resulting in significant injuries including 10 staples in his head, Meniscus break, Tibial fracture, four severed and torn ligaments, and extensive road rash on his back. Despite the identification of the vehicles type and color by authorities, they were unable to obtain the license plate information due to limitations in accessing city cameras. Due to these injuries, Tyler is unable to work for six to eight months according to his medical team. The financial burden resulting from this ordeal is staggering. Tyler is grappling with medical expenses exceeding $180,000, with two additional surgeries on the horizon. Amidst this turmoil, he must still contend with the ongoing expenses of housing and other monthly bills.
Tyler is a hard worker and loves being outdoors. He works multiple jobs to support himself all of which require him to be on his feet for extended periods of time. He has already undergone his first surgery, leaving him with two more focused on the ligaments.
Any help at all to get Tyler back on his feet would be greatly appreciated. This is a tough time for him, and he has a long path to recovery. Your kindness and generosity provide rays of hope in his dark hour. To all who have taken the time to read and share his story, your support is invaluable.
