Pectus carinatum brace
Donation protected
My youngest son Tyler is 15 and for the past year , as well as the normal struggles a teenager has from day to day, is dealing with pectus carinatum (pigeon chest) and lumbar scoliosis.
Consultants have informed us that it will get worse until he has finished growing.
Operations for this condition are not available on the NHS as it is classed as 'cosmetic' . When my son discovered this , his emotions went further down hill. He is very low at the moment.
Any money that you kindly donate will be for a special chest brace which I have studied up on and have seen some brilliant results for some boys.
The brace costs £3000 , and again, is not available on the NHS.
I need to act as quickly as possible whilst he is still growing or the results will not be as drastic.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
