Tyler Stinson Fight Fund

   My name is Tyler Stinson and since 2006 I have been competing in professional mixed martial arts(MMA) or "cage-fighting" to most. I couldn't think of doing anything else than chasing my dream of someday becoming a world champion. I've fought all over the country, with numerous organizations and have compiled a 28-10 record. I am scheduled to compete October 31st in Tampa, Florida at the Sun Dome. The fight will be broadcast on national television on CBS Sports. Now, let me tell you a little about myself....
    I grew up in the small town of Winfield, Kansas. Growing up I knew I wanted to be a professional-something. Football, baseball, basketball, track, whatever season it was, thats what I wanted to be professional at. When I was 20 years old a friend got me to watch a UFC event, and I was hooked. Less than a week later I had booked my first fight with no experience in any type of martial arts. I may have stretched the truth to the promoter and talked my way into that first fight. But while not knowing what the hell I was doing, I found my sport and more importantly, I found what I am passionate about.
    I packed up everything I had and moved to Kansas City to further my career. After 3 years in KC, I made the move to Denver and started training at the world renowned Grudge Training Center. It's been an amazing journey so far, with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, and I can honestly say I love what i do.
     One of the tougher parts of the fighting world is getting sponsors. I've had countless managers who promised me the world but couldn't deliver. I am now handling every aspect of my career, including sponsors, and that is why I've come here and asking for help. My target goal of $3,000 is more than just putting money in my pocket. If my goal is reached, I will be able to pay for all my medical requirments(blood work, eye exam, CT-scan, physical, etc..), sustain a healthy diet, compensate training partners and coaches, and most importantly be able to fly my coaches to my fight.
