Message by Dr. Adam Day on Tyndale's Mission
“How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news” (Isa. 52:7). The purpose of Tyndale Theological Seminary is to train up runners to spread the lovely news of our good God’s good news. Our hearts and souls are focused on the equipping of men and women to build up Christ's church, wherever it is to be found. To this we dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly: our faculty and staff are church-supported missionaries, and we strive to work together as one to strengthen the hands of gospel-laborers.
But these laborers are often called from poor communities. Tyndale scholarships enable such men and women to be trained in the things of God, so that, as far as possible, no church has to be without a trained shepherd, no matter how poor the community he serves in or comes from. In this way, we seek to build Christ's church globally, and bless brothers and sisters who would otherwise have no access to seminary education. The result is trained pastors serving, and trained women ministering to God’s people. By supporting us you enable us to continue this work and to continue supporting students with scholarships.
We are running a Matching Campaign of $50,000. Thanks to a gracious donor, your gift will be doubled! Help us to reach our ultimate goal of $100,000 by December 31. Let no community miss the change of being blessed by people trained in ministry: please join us in seeking to bless Christ's church around the world.
