Typhoon Odette - Dagat Family Relief Fund

My name is Jennifer Albano and I am asking for some assistance. I am a vascular access specialist registered nurse in New York and New Jersey. The people I am raising this money for is for my family back home in Cebu, Philippines. For those that know me, I rarely ask for help but I am asking for help now because my family in the Philippines need it.

 

As many of you are aware on the evening of Dec 16, Typhoon Odette hit the city of Cebu, Philippines. So many people left with nothing, no electricity, food, water and internet to communicate with families.

 

I am seeking some donations to help my family back home in Cebu. They have limited access to running water, no power and some with no shelter. My family would have to travel 2-3 hours away to purchase supplies and to make contact with other families. This will likely be a few months before things get back to normal. It’s so heartbreaking to see pictures of my family’s hometown and the whole community, such an unfortunate event to end a difficult two years.
