Typhoon Rai (Odette) Relief for So. Leyte, PH
Donation protected
We're collecting donations for the residents of the village of Macrohon, Southern Leyte, Philippines who were badly affected and many were left homeless after super typhoon Rai (Odette) on 16 December 2021.
Residents are in immediate need of food and water, construction supplies (metal roofing, lumber, nails, plywood, etc.) as well as gasoline for chainsaws and generator. All donations will be used to purchase those supplies locally for distribution within Southern Leyte.
My name is Mecil Cafe McKay, originally from Ichon, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. I am a Filipina living in Canada who has a home and food, but many in my province of Southern Leyte are not so fortunate. Many people have lost everything just before Christmas and New Year, but we can help them at least have a roof over their heads and some food on their tables. My family members back home are helping me in organizing these relief efforts as soon as enough funds are received.
Your generous donation, no matter how humble, will be greatly appreciated by those in need.
