Bring Eden Home (Our Daughter is Trapped in the Netherlands)

After all these years, we have finally found Jon’s long-lost daughter!! She is now 15 years old and in the foster system in the Netherlands. She decided to find her father and used DNA to do so, matching with Jon’s mother Elizabeth on Ancestry.com. We have been in contact with her daily and she is safe, but not doing well. She has lived a very traumatic life leading up to this point and she needs a lot of help and love. Right now we are working on establishing our relationship with her, and it will be up to her whether or not she wants to move across the world to be with us here in the States. If she chooses not to move to America, we will still be fighting for partial custody so that we have a say in what happens in her care, and so that we can still get her US citizenship.

These funds will be used for:

-Passports and travel

-Legal fees

-Care and necessities for Eden as a foster child with very limited funding

Should she decide to come to America, extra funds will be used for:

-Updating her passport and travel

-Items for her and her room, such as furniture and clothing

-Converting part of our garage into a bedroom space for her

-Specialized therapy for her trauma as well as her eating disorder
