Tyson family grieving COVID-19 loss

A second-shift Tyson worker passed away from COVID-19 April 22 in Waterloo, IA due to Tyson's gross negligence. He leaves behind 3 daughters (2 of whom are minors). His wife passed away last September from breast cancer. My heart is breaking for the girls. Cedar Valley Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (CVAIRR) hopes to create a community fund for families affected by COVID-19 illnesses and deaths, however right now we hope to get the immediate needs of this family met.
The oldest daughter is only 19 years old. We cannot imagine how hard it will be to move forward with 2 minor sisters in her care. Donations will go directly to the family to use for food, rent, utilities, and any other immediate needs. Please donate whatever you can.
