Ty's One Wish

TyRonda Mackall, known by friends and family as Ty, is a wife and mother of three (two girls ages 15 & 7 and one boy age 9). She's known to all that know her as, a bubbly ray of sunshine with an infectious laugh and smile. In 2012, Ty began her battle when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. This devistated her and her family, but she stood strong and after enduring a mastectomy on her left breast and 15 lymphnodes, chemotheropy and radiation treatments, she was able to fight back and went into remission in 2013. However, the celebration was short lived, as in 2014 her scans revealed that the Cancer had returned and spread to her bones, liver and on the base of her skull. Once again, she had to fight this demon, only this time the diagnosis was Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, a term considered terminal by medical standards. This forced her from work and onto disability. Recently, after a hospital stay due to major pains and complications, it was found that the tumor on her skull has grown into her brain cavity, warranting more radiation treatments and possible surgery to the area. While she is very hopeful that everything will work out and that she will be here to see her children grow, she is determined more than ever to complete the primary goal on her wish list, which is to take her children to Disney World, as she has always dreamed. This has been a near impossible goal, as it takes all they can muster just to stay afloat. The plan is to try for the end of July, during the summer before the kids go back to school. Though this is not that far away, we are hoping to reach our goal by the beginning of July. The funds will go towards tickets, lodging and expenses for Ty her husband and 3 children. We are extremely grateful for ANY donations that we recieve on our mission to help a woman and family going through so much to realize a dream and have a well deserved break from reality.
