Losing a beloved companion animal can be utterly devastating, but with your support I can help animal lovers of all ages heal their hearts by publishing my first book, Tyson's Tail. Tyson's Tail has been written for children and grown-ups coping with the loss of their beloved pet, based on my own personal loss in 2008. My goal is to help people all around the world heal by coming to terms with their loss, rediscovering the magic of spirit, and that love never dies.
I have always been an avid animal lover, having loved many cats, dogs birds and fish in my life. As an intuitive empath and psychic, I feel a huge connection and kinship with animals, truly believing we are one spirit, in many guises. In 2004 I adopted a gorgeous black, white and brown tabby cat we called Tyson (for his fighting spirit!), and he was my world, alongside his fluffy partner in crime Jackson.
In 2008 Tyson was tragically hit by a car. The pain of losing Tyson hurt deeply because he was so much more than 'just a cat' - he was my friend, my family and my life. As I held his lifeless body in my arms and howled to the heavens in an anguish I've never felt before, I vowed that something good would come from his loss. Indeed it did - Tyson's death was a spiritual wake up call for me, triggering a desire to know more about life, death and beyond. I searched for answers and read many books, but found little that comforted me.
This lead me to embark on an amazing spiritual journey, learning from and working with wonderful, gifted animal communicators, psychics and mediums from all around the world. One night, after sitting with my spirit circle, I channelled love, spirit and wrote Tyson's Tail. Tonight, 8 years later, on the 8th day of the 8th month of 2016, I seek your help and support to make this intention to help people all around the world experiencing the same hearteache a reality. You can be part of this dream come true, helping me realize my dharma.
Tyson's Tail is a beautifully illustrated book purporting key messages of love, acceptance, and our eternal loving spirit that unites us all, always. In taking this passion project and its message to the world, I hope to uplift and inspire readers to feel and acknowledge their pain without judgement, and to be open the miraculous divine spirit that resides within us all.
Inspired by my own true story and experiences, Tyson’s Tail is a spirited and uplifting children's book that can be given to kids of all ages, who are seeking comfort and hope in their time of grief and loss. My manuscript has been written from the very depths of my heart and soul, and my words come to life with ethereal water color illustrations lovingly crafted by my long-time childhood school friend Joanna Blaylock, an acclaimed student of the Sydney Gallery School. Tyson’s Tail is a passion project for us both, and once published will be a loving tribute for all the animals that have “gone ahead” of our readers to “light the way” with their love.
With your generous contribution, I intend to publish this book with Hay House's self publishing arm, Balboa Press, and gain the added support of a Hay House radio interview promoting Tyson's Tail to the world. Your support is incredibly appreciated, and together with my drive, business development and marketing experience, we will see this dream realized.
