Mike Anderson medical & living expenses

Hello, 
as many people know my father has been battling a very tough injury & medical issues. 

It started with a back injury August 9, 2019 , two bulging disc that was pinching his sciatica nerve, he went to Vancouver and got a nerve block done.
Unfortunately shortly after, September 10, 2019, while walking to his follow up appointment for his back injury, Mike showed symptoms of a stroke, he was unable to speak or walk normally, and could not remember much. The doctors have tested multiple times and it was not a stroke . While waiting in the hospital to go back to Vancouver he started to have seizures and had multiple that day and was rushed to Vancouver by air ambulance. Vancouver ran many test but could not figure out why , they took spinal fluid samples . Since coming home , Mike has continued to work hard at recovering , going to speech therapy, occupational health, physio & mental health.  During this time his eye sight has been greatly diminished to the point of 20/200 vision and with eye glasses should bring it up to 20/80. So he is unable to drive ,or do much work. Doctors  diagnosed Mike with what they call "Conversion Disorder"., which mimics stroke like symptoms. This is good news because it means there is no damage from clots, bleeding of the brain or tumors on the brain

Friday evening, November 15, 2019, Mike was attacked by two men while walking home from a charity event by two men and they sprayed him in the face with, what we believe to be car battery acid. Mike spent the night in the hospital getting his eyes flushed and lungs checked. Mike has chemical burns on his face and neck. 

-The Hospital staff was amazing in getting Mike's eyes flushed and face cleaned up immediately. 
-Also the staff at Vision North Eye Center, got Mike in right away Monday to make sure no permanent damage to his eyes had occurred from the acid assault on Mike. Amazing, no permanent damage to Mike's eyes.:)  

My father has been part of this community for 51 years and helps everyone when he can.
