Tyutyunnyk Family Journey
Donation protected
We are collecting money to support the Tyutyunnyk family's journey to Ukraine to finish their long, painful, and costly green-card application process. This week they will fly to Kiev for an interview that will decide their family's fate.
The interview is on Wednesday, October 3rd at the American Embassy in Ukraine.
This journey will cost the Tyutyunnyks more than their remaining savings. They will incur:
$8000 for four round-trip flights (Boston - Kiev, paid for in one-way segments)
$660 for mandatory medical screenings
$660 for green card fees
$1,050 for living expenses in Kiev (@$50/day)
$9,000 in legal fees
$19,370 Total
The Tyutyunnyks would never ask for help themselves, but we can help them anyway. Donations of all sizes will be greatly appreciated and transferred directly into the Tyutyunnyks' bank account. Thank you so much for your well wishes and generosity as they approach this final hurdle on their path to becoming American citizens.
