La oftalmóloga Cristian Tinoco Parrales es nicaragüense y tiene 42 años. Desde 2011 lucha contra un cáncer de mama que hoy se ha extendido a su abdomen, pelvis y columna.

Su salud se vio afectada por el arresto de su padre, Víctor Hugo Tinoco, prisionero político del gobierno de Nicaragua desde junio pasado. Pese al dolor, Cristian ha alzado la voz para exigir su libertad.
