We have now been married for 50 years and could not even imagine that we would be in this position at 70 years of age! My husband has 5 college degrees and 5 years of residency and fellowship as a child neurologist PhDMD. In January 2020 , my husband Lloyd’s office, has been beset by forces beyond his control: Pandemic, attorney fees to defend him against allegations about his medical competence, continued allegations brought by Texas Medical Board, allegations by DEA that he was “diverting” drugs onto the street. The DEA raided our home and his office in which they seized his iPhone, iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro. They did not afford us the dignity of putting on pants. They made us stand & then sit, for 3.5 hours while they rifled through every drawer, closet & personal space in our home. This raid unofficially closed his office because he has no computer capability since they also seized all of his external drives where patient records were stored. They even took his medicine because it had been moved to smaller bottles and did not have original prescription labels on them. The agent in charge said it was “illegal” to move your medications out of original bottles! This is a lie !!! Anyone who takes more than 5 different medications usually puts them out in trays to make life easier! Some things have been returned. They returned his 13 year old iMac computer. It worked when it was seized, but not when it was returned. This raid occurred on October 13, 2021. Now he has not been able to see patients at all. We are now almost $10,000.00 behind on our house payment. Our deadline is March 3, or our home that we have lived in for 35 years, will be foreclosed on. Any help to save our home would be so appreciated!!! I pray for anyone who knows us to please a contribution—we will be forever grateful!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
