Kelly's Girls
Donation protected
Our friend, Kelly Doherty, died suddenly because she went into cardiac arrest from an asthma attack. Kelly left behind her husband, Donnie, a recently retired Army Drill Sargent who had two tours of duty in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. Don was a member of the 1/87th Army Infantry Brigade. They had four beautiful girls ages 14-8; Shannon, Bridget, Molly and Eleanor (10), who is severely handicapped.
Kelly put off her own education in order raise her girls - until just recently, and graduated from nursing school last year. Kelly worked with Rodan+Fields for a short time,
The Doherty family is a proud one dedicated to serving others.
This tragedy has created a financial hardship in many ways. The family has asked permission to write a personal thank you to anyone who may contribute and wishes you to know how grateful they are for this kindness and your prayers.
Know that Kelly's heart found a 100% match and is still beating. Her liver and kidneys have also found new recipients so her legacy will live on in others.
As of Mother's Day her organ donation has reached a minimum of 50 donors. What a beautiful gift of life.
