U18 Girls Irish Touch Rugby Team

Touch Rugby (Touch) is a fast-growing, “minimal-contact” sport.

Touch is exciting, fast-paced and skilful whilst still accessible.

Based on the core principles of honesty and integrity, it is a competitive and social activity which is fully diverse and inclusive by design. Our partnership with IRFU enables a broader reach of the sport of rugby where Touch acts as a pathway, alternative or continuation to the contact game.

This year the U18 girls have the opportunity to play a European Championships Tournament in France.

However, this comes at a high cost to the girls themselves, they do some funding towards the event but it is very limited and conversion is only about 10% of their costs so we are fundraising to try and help remove some of the burdens for the girls and their families.
