Help Scottie Recover

My name is Ashley. I'm Scottie's girlfriend. I am creating this GoFundMe to help him with medical expenses.

As most of you know Scottie is currently admitted to Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA ICU for severe pneumonia and another infection they are trying to figure out. He has high blood pressure, -pre-diabetes, and COPD. He is currently receiving 3 high doses of antibiotics and high flow oxygen to keep his levels normal. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him.

Some back story on Scottie!

Scottie ingested contaminated water by drinking Coffee made from a Keurig. The water sat inside the chamber unable to be properly cleaned or emptied for 5-6 months.

Scottie started to become sick on April 12th with a high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. He was like this for 4-5 days. Once those symptoms passed he then started coughing and becoming short of breathe. After those symptoms worsened, Scottie then made the decision to go to the Athol ER. That is where they found the pneumonia and made the decision to have him admitted for further treatment.

Scott unfortunately has no health insurance. I was able to sign him up for Tufts but need to have the premium paid in full before activation. We were told if we make a double payment of his premium we may be lucky enough to have his entire hospital stay covered. In order to do so we need to pay his premium's totaling around $600.

Scottie is our sole provider. I lost my job two weeks ago for being out while our daughter Jordan had a neck injury. Anything raised above the $600 will be going towards other medical expenses Scott may face and towards his bills while hes out of work.
