Help single mom get through chemo & surgeries

Donation protected
Hi everyone! I am hosting this fundraiser on behalf of Nia.

Nia is a single mom of two beautiful children - Ava who is 5 and little Vincenzo who was just born a few months early during an emergency C section due to side effects of one of her chemotherapy treatments.  The AC treatment was giving Vincenzo issues with his heart which caused him to be born at 32 weeks.

Nia was diagnosed on (date) with Stage 2, Grade 3, Triple Negative invasive ductal carcinoma.

Nia's cancer is very common in women over 50, but Nia herself is only 25 so this aggressive cancer has really stumped a lot of people along the way. There has been trial and error in her treatments.

As of now, the tumor is finally shrinking and she is almost halfway through her second round of treatments.

Nia started her battle with breast cancer while pregnant with Vincenzo so her first round of chemotherapy treatments were WHILE being pregnant, which as you can imagine is scary.

She is giving everything she has got to stay fighting for her two babes, whom she loves with all of her heart. She has had the odds against her before though - Nia is also a domestic abuse survivor. She keeps fighting an uphill battle but her time to shine will come

So, the chemotherapy is truly kicking her butt - some days she can hardly get out of bed and care for herself, let alone her beautiful children. She is having a hard time cooking for herself, and of course paying for her bills. She has remained strong, though has her days, as she is entitled to. With a little push, I've convinced her to let others help her. She is an independent woman who rarely asks for help, but now she is reaching out to you all.

ANY HELP you can offer, even just $5 will help. It will help pay for her bills and help put food on the table for this mama and her babies. Nia has not worked in quite some time due to the circumstances and how terribly the side effects are affecting her and the bills are truly piling up.

Here is a little insight on how Nia exactly found out, how she found her cancer, and a little deeper look into her story. Shared right from Nia herself

"I turned 25 August 14th Ava’s first day of school I pulled into the parking lot to get her.. had the seat set up with toys cause I was so proud and right before I went in they called me and told me it’s cancer this was august 16th two days after my bday"

What a heartbreaking birthday

Next is how it came about.

"It was like a little lesion in my chest like a little teeny tiny pebble and it was hurting and I had noticed that before that popped up I was already not feeling good inside but I didn’t know what was wrong but very tired N just not the same..I went to the hospital because my OB would not see me because I had my daughter. I’m a single mom and I was pregnant so I went to the hospital because it was hurting so bad one morning when I woke up they sent me home they wouldn’t do x-rays or anything and told me I have to go to my OB and then when I finally got into the OB she just kept kind of avoiding it and telling me that she doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about she thinks it’s a clogged milk duck but I wanted to Look further into it because I had a bad feeling inside so she scheduled me to go to Margret Neidland Breast Center and they did their ultrasounds on it when I had another appointment at the OB she told me that the Doctor Who did my ultrasounds was very concerned and wanted to kind of get this going and get me in for a biopsy but she thought to herself that it’s not that big of a deal and whatever they need to do wouldn’t be able to be done until I am done being pregnant anyways so she basically left it up to me on if I want to go through with making the appointment for the biopsy or just kind of wait it out and of course I went through with the biopsy because I knew that it wasn’t something good."

Nia is another woman affected negatively by cancer because of her age and not being taken seriously by her OB. This has to stop!

Please consider helping Nia and her two littles out in this difficult time. Everything is so appreciated.
