In Memory of Erik: Support Sarah and Three Children
Donation protected
My daughter, Sarah, shared the following about her beloved husband, Erik, who recently passed away:
"It is with a heavy and a completely broken heart that I share with you the passing of my sweet and gentle husband, Erik. Early Sunday morning we received a call that utterly shattered our world. No child should ever grow up without a parent. Hunter, Hayden, and Maverik absolutely adored their daddy. He was my anchor and my better half. He was our safe space. Erik wasn't perfect, but he was ours and we loved him so completely. He loved us so unconditionally. Erik was our own hero.
To have known Erik, was to have loved him. If you ever had the pleasure of even having one conversation with him, you know how genuine, caring, and tender-hearted he was. No words could ever begin to describe the lasting impact he left on so many of us. We are left with such a deep void that can never be filled. There will never be anyone quite like Erik. The world was a little better and a little brighter with Erik in it."
Erik was deeply loved by his family, friends, and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His sudden loss has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, warmth, and integrity.
In addition to being a loving husband and father, Erik was an Army veteran who proudly served his country for 26 years in the Utah Army National Guard. He built lifelong bonds with fellow service members, who remember him not just for his dedication, but for his loyalty, humor, and the deep friendship he gave to all who served alongside him.
As Sarah and her three young children, ages 5, 6, and 7, face this unimaginable loss, we ask for your continued thoughts, prayers, and support. Your contributions will help with funeral costs, as well as assist them in navigating the immediate challenges they now face.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and for helping us honor Erik’s memory and legacy during this difficult time.
