QED Attendance Fund

QED 2024 is happening in October and of course the Skeptics in the Pub Online team are very excited! As well as being an amazing weekend of interesting talks from brilliant people, QED is a great opportunity to meet friends, old and new. QED is a great big celebration of skepticism, but not everyone can afford to join in.

So once again, Skeptics in the Pub Online are organising a QED Attendance Fund!

We are fundraising so that we can offer tickets and accommodation to skeptics who would love to come to QED and join in with the UK’s biggest skeptics convention but can’t afford to attend.

The QED Attendance Fund is open to anyone on a low income, anyone receiving state benefits, and students. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Applications will close on 20th August. If more people apply than we can afford to help, names will be drawn out of a hat. Everyone who applies for the QED Attendance Fund will be emailed with the outcome of their application. The names of successful applicants will not be publicly announced.
