Putting our lives back together after the Lahaina Fire

Since the wildfire fire that destroyed Lahaina, we have faced significant increased financial strain. I lost my source of income, and it took months to regain employment. Meanwhile, we were shuffled between several different hotels while our home remained uninhabitable for nearly a year. I lost 2 vehicles in the fire which was a significant hit. We were fortunate that our home was still standing, but the intense smoke damage required us to renovate the entire interior to the subfloor and replace almost all of our belongings - furniture, appliances, clothing, beds, toys, personal items as well our household items. We're a family of 3, our son just turned 11 years old.

It's not easy to ask for help... However it's only been through the generosity of others that we've gotten through the last year. Between replacing personal items, our monthly bills, loss of income, and increased debt, our finances are very tight. Our goal is to get out of this debt we incurred due to the fire, and to the best of our ability provide for our son. He is most important to us always.
