Defend Doaa and her kids from the genocide
I'm Doaa Baker, I'm a Palestinian woman from Gaza Strip, I'm a mother to six boys
Simply we were living a very simple life with a beautiful, comfortable and calm home, with medium income, our only anxiety me and my husband was how to bring up our kids, how to maintain their good ethics, their education, thier success, we were doing our best to preserve their future, It eas a blessing from Allah that they were very intelligent at their schools, thier teachers used to call them as geniuses.
My elderly som Sami, now become ready to join the general secondary school, after which, he will join University, and accomplish his ambition and success in life, this year is very Decisive to us and to him, because it will decide which major to enter.
We payed all our efforts to offer him good condition to study well, and he was paying all his efforts as his dream became closer to come true, after this year he will study abroad, he will gain money and help his family, he will escape from this city, the city of wars,
But unfortunately, he didn't catch up, It's not the dream which come true , but it's the nightmare.
Now it's October the 7th of 2023, the first day of the war on Gaza.
We came out of our home leaving everything behind,
The next day directly, this home was bombed, and everything had crashed, our earnings we had put in this home during 20 years, our education, our dreams, even our memories, they didn't leave us time to collect them.
We just escaped with our souls.
And from that moment, we started the miserable life,
My pen isn't enough to describe this life, Briefly, during this year, my kids lived the life of blood, horror, hunger, thirst, illnesses, diseases, running here and there escape from death.
But death now have become closer and closer to us, we are waiting oue turn in this genocide.
I don't want this family to be finished.
I see a light from a little window in this cave, we may we may travel, we may heal all our injuries
It's the last attempt to survive.
