Nivolumab for Mark Nurthen

Donation protected
Mark is 38 and has two beautiful daughters. He was diagnosed in 2011 with lung cancer, more specifically - non small cell lung cancer. Since then Mark has had one lung removed and a gruelling amount of chemotherapy. At the end of 2011 he was given the all clear. In 2012 we were devastated to find out that Marks cancer had returned in his remaining lung. He’s since gone through huge amounts of horrendous chemotherapy but we are now at a point where the only option going forward is a drug called Nivolumab. This is a revolutionary immune therapy treatment that the NHS currently won’t fund, however a company called Bristol Myers Squibb have been doing clinical trials with outstanding results. This could help Mark get his life back and let his Girls keep their Daddy. I am asking all of you to please please take the time to donate, even if it's just £1 to contribute to the huge expense of this treatment. For five minutes of your time and what you would spend on a cup of coffee you could potentially help this Daddy fight this horrendous cancer and have as much time as possible with his children.

With regard to the target. It's hard to know how much will be needed in total. Each round of treatment costs £8000 and it's unknown how many rounds will be needed.  Thus the huge 'target amount' stated above.
