Help Bella!

‍♀️ On Monday Bella was admitted to hospital after an ultrasound revealed a stone blocking her bile duct.
.
Tuesday afternoon she had surgery to remove the stone.
the surgery was successful, however two of six biopsies showed that Bella has a small mass of lymphoma in her small intestine and mast (cancer) cells present elsewhere.
Bella’s vet bills have so far exceeded 16 thousand dollars (san Francisco veterinary services being some of the most expensive in the world) and now I’m having to think very carefully about what we do next.

Bella came home on Thursday and will be left to heal for at least a week before we authorize the extraction of cells from her spleen, to determine if this is the site of the cancer. The lymphoma in her small intestine can be easily managed for some time with drugs.
