Help Diana Fight Leukemia

There aren't many people like our friend, Diana Maksymowicz.  Her smile is infectious, and her positive mind-set is like nothing we've ever seen.  Diana is a single mother of two beautiful little girls, Sia and Jerika.  She is also an avid animal lover and rescuer and a loving fur mom to her dog, Phelony, and her many cats.  Her social media posts are always filled with pictures of the many fun adventures that she shares with her daughters, such as taking the girls to the park, playing dress-up, singing at church, or paying a visit to her father's nursing home to cheer everyone up.  Everyone who knows and loves Diana knows that she is determined to give her children her unlimited love and attention, despite dealing with an ongoing health battle.  Good days and bad days, Diana always has a smile on her face, is always beaming with positivity, and constantly thinks of others.  She is always there to lend a helping hand to her fellow teachers, friends, and family.  Now it is our turn to return the favor.

After a long and tough battle with breast cancer, Diana was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  She is currently staying at the hospital and is unable to see her children.  She has endured more treatments and surgeries than anyone should ever have to experience, and she has a long road ahead.  Yet through it all, she has been a fighter and a survivor.  Her strength and courage are inspirational.  

This page is being posted by Andrea Stern and Dana Valenti, two longtime friends who have known Diana since elementary school and middle school.  We have shared many happy times with Diana.  We love her dearly, and we are looking forward to the day when Diana is healthy and can make more special memories with her beautiful daughters, her family, and her friends. 

We are asking for donations that can be used at Diana's discretion for medical bills, household bills, and care for Sia and Jerika.  We hope that, as a group, we can help ease some of her financial burdens so that she can focus on getting well and getting back to a normal life with her children. No donation is too small.  We know this is a difficult time for many due to the effects of COVID-19.  Your generosity and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated.
