Help Us Care for Dad

My dad, Dean, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic blah blah (read: gruesome cancer). He's not a candidate for radiation or chemo, and ya'll know what that means. This is a pretty catastrophic knock-down for our family. We just lost my beautiful little sister to a similar blah blah gruesomeness last year. Dad's going to need a village for this journey — and our village is going to need one another.

Max and I will be traveling to Colorado to help however we can, and I'll plan to stay as long as needed. Other siblings are hoping to join us as well. Most of us are struggling a bit with the financial demands of time off and travel. I know there will be other unforeseen costs as well. I am reaching out to ya'll (once again!) to help our family do a hard thing as best we can.

It's not the load that weighs you down, it's the way that you carry it. And the way that this family carries it is together. <3
