Max McAllistar is our three year old jack Russell, friend, family protector of all. His Most favorite thing to do is run like the wind!
Today Max snuck out the propped open gate as spring tools were brought in the fenced yard. We tried to catch him and he took off in the spring sunshine only to be hit by a car shortly after. His rear right leg is badly fractured at the top of the thigh. The vet says a surgical plate at a vets in anchorage, is the only way to save the leg. The fee is over 3000 dollars.
Barring that his leg will need to be amputated, that will cost 1500.
We live Max and will do what ever we can to keep him happy and in our family. But he is a runner it fills him with joy. So see him on the beach running is a thing of beauty. Please help us. What ever you can do. Is appreciated.
