Emergency Legal Fees

Hey, my name is Chris Sanders.

No one is sponsoring this request but me, myself.

I have agonized over putting a request out such as this for several months now, as I know this request will be followed by some hate, incredulous remarks, and questions.

In August 2020, I was charged with a three crimes. TO BE CLEAR, NON OF THEM ARE VIOLENT, OR SEXUAL IN NATURE.

In any case, to anyone who knows me, I am humiliated to even publish a request like this, but I find myself having no choice as my financial situation at present is PRECARIOUS at best. 

I have managed to scrape money together resources for my legal representation. 

However, it has come to my attention that mounting a credible legal defense requires more than just decent attorneys. It requires experts to conteract the prosecutors endless recourcres. 

My legal battle has been over three years in the making. TO BE CLEAR, THIS PROSECUTION IS POLITCALLY CHARGED. 

My trial is finally slated to begin this September 11th, 2023.

So far, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees, and even more in ancillary legals costs in peparation for trial.

My current employment, only affords me the finances to upkeep my basic monthly bills, to survive. Although I am grateful for that, I find myself in a precarious situation.

Although the facts of my case support my innocence, if I am ever going to wage a a strong case against the endless financing of the State of Michigan, my attorneys have suggested we hire professional, expert witnesses. The services of these professional witnesses, are costly. To hire them, I am afforded the following:

2. The assurances that they will testify to the facts of the case,

My defense counsel has determined that the total cost of these two expert witnesses should not exceed $9,280.00 in total.

Again, as I said, I am humiliated to even ask. Circumstances beyond my control has created the necessity to ask.

If ever, I have treated you well, given to you financially, provided you an ear to listen, or if you simply want to be a good Samaritan, I would be indepted to whoever donates.

It is not the size of the gift that is important, but the though that counts.

I am truly hoping my good karma pays off, because I so desperately need these professional witnesses to defend myself from these scurrilous charges, as I have come to realize that, in the American justice system, someone is only as innocent as you can PROVE!
