Help Lester Don Thornton after tornado
Donation protected
My name is Julia. I am fundraising for my Uncle Don to help him fix his home. Don is a Vietnam Veteran who made jumps into combat zones with the 101st ABN DIV. He’s had a hard life.
In 2001 he lost a son Luke in a car wreck. On March 1, 2022, he lost his other son to a diabetic coma and then a couple weeks later, March 21, 2022, a tornado ripped apart his home as well.
He and his wife, Linda, are 77 and 78 years old. They are on fixed incomes. Grandchildren, since their sons' death, depend on them for food and shelter.
Please pull together with me and give what you can to help this old soldier out. This money will help ensure Don and Linda have a roof over their head as do grandchildren who depend on them for support now. Thank you. We humbly appreciate your help.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.
