Help Jake, Father of 2, get Back on his Feet

Update 10/13/19 - My son Jake has now been in intensive care for three weeks. I want to thank all those who have contributed monetarily to his Go Fund Me account as well as those who have offered their well wishes and prayers. I would also like to thank those of you who have re-posted this for my son to increase the posting's exposure. Jake has a very long road ahead to recovery while still having to provide for his two loving children being that he is a single father. He will need all the help he can get. I thank you all again for your support--friends, relatives and just well wishers. I look forward to the day when he will be out of the hospital and back home with his family and can thank you all himself.
As you know my son Jake, 39, is living in Colorado with his two daughters Kenzie 4 and Cadence 10,my grandkids.. Over the last three years he has had two strokes and has been fighting Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis for the last eight years. It has been an uphill battle for him with constant and severe pain and he has worked very hard to support his family despite his many challenges.
Two weeks ago he collapsed and was taken to the hospital where he was put into intensive care. The doctors had to remove his large intestine, on an emergency basis. In the last week he has had three major surgeries to stop the bleeding, dialysis support and many, many units of blood. At this point we are not sure when he is going to be out of intensive care or just the hospital and be able to get back to working and caring for his family. Jake has now been in the hospital in intensive care for over two weeks having to go back in for more surgery because the surgical wound had opened and there was much drainage. They've got it stopped but this has been a big setback for him in his recovery.
His expenses have already been adding up because he has not been able to work before he went into the hospital and now they are piling up further and he needs help. I would like to set up a fund that will help take care of his needs for several months until he gets back on his feet and working so he can care for his family. His most pressing needs are money for his housing payment ,utilities and childcare and other medical needs. Jake has always been a super father and the kind of person that would help anybody and not ask for help for himself but this is a time of need and he still has not asked but I am asking for him. At this time he does not know that I am even doing this for him. I would like to set a goal of financial support in the figure of $45,000 which will be needed to get him through several months of not working and rehabilitation. None of us know what the future will bring for us but with help we can possibly ease the pain of what's ahead. Thank you for any help you can give.
