Help Koori Colours & the crew of kid stay around.

Its Kez here. Together with Jason Russell aboriginal artist, we are Koori Colours Art Gallery...We started in a small town in western NSW. A town that helped us rebuild, emotionally...So they became apart of our story and koori Colours story. We started it late 1 night, after just moving to Coona, not knowing a soul really...1 dream had been crushed so we turned to our back up, his art, his way...Over the next 8yrs we lived in Coona and a smaller town Baradine, we spent that time painting anything that sit still long enough...We worked with lands council's schools, and public exhibitions...travelling every few months for family visits and or medical treatment...almost 3yrs ago we moved back to country with the crew of kids in toe...Where he has painted on more walls, worked with more kids, and painted up a storm, happily until this year...As we all know 2020 covid hit Australia...then 2021 happened and it got real...literally days before the state went into full locked down we were on par to open a shop front, had everything we needed behind us, just need a shop...Had a person Jas used to go to school with that we ran into when we moved back to country, he owns his own real estate and was ready with a shop front and an owner that loved our idea and our determination to keep going with only a passion behind us...then while waiting for all the paper work to land to fill in lockdown happened...then it kept going, kept getting extended...then the dreaded vax came in the mix...with a chromosome issue I have given the kids, i have been very worried, as I tell the family, I can handle dead, been bagging on the door before {extreme childbirth }, my fear has always been the 'what if'...what if I get worse...Jas didnt want to get it as he says...If your house is getting shoot up would you be only 1 wearing bullet proof vest??????...na a dad protects his family, he puts the vest on the kids...so we have sat here being told if we want to keep going we HAVE to get the vax...our kids know the risks, and they also know it will be me getting it 1st, not both of us until 1 is completed, just incase...just writting this is building my anxiety...but...we all know it takes months to be covered...we have managed to cover all costs until now...loosing all our work over that lockdown time has us back to where we were years ago when we started..nothing...I cant sit back and watch the years of work we have both put into koori colours, the hours of painting, his passion, his safe place, his sanity, his culture...WE NEED HELP...not something i even like saying never mind doing this...its soul destroying asking for finical help...All in know is I have to make something work, need to make something happen to get us through this shyte...we cant just disappear, his work needs to be seen...i am sorry i cant pull us out this time my love without asking for help...the rent is behind the power is over due, and thats not to mention the lack of food etc...here is something new...if you can help us now, we can help you later....
