Pay it Forward for Shauna

They say the Lord brings people into your life for a reason.  When I ferst met Shauna, I wasn't sure what that reason was.  I enjoyed her company.  We seemed to bond immediately.  We shared a lot with each other. We were very different but had so much in common.  Both Christian women ~each with our own plots in life.  Always putting our families first.  Making the best of every situation.  Our husbands got along.  Our kids got along.  This was the reason, I thought, the Lord sent me an amazingly wondeful friend!  In such a short time we had become so connected.  
One day, I realized the reason changed.  My family was going thru a very rough time.  I was so grateful to have Shauna to lean on .  When I needed to cry, scream or needed to find the sense of humor ~ Shauna was there.  Her love and support was even more obvious to me when she started a "Go Fund Me" page to help retain a lawyer to help fight for my Grandson's custody.  I realized this was now the reason!  The Lord sent her to me to help me through this horrible time.  How blessed I am to have the beautiful kindred spirit as my friend!
Well, today, I realize the reason has changed again.  My dear friend, Shauna, is sick.  She has just been diagnosed with "infiltrating ductal carcinoma."  It is Grade 3, Stage 2.  In other words, breast cancer.  She will need to begin chemotherapy, radiation and afterwards undergo surgery.  Shauna will be out of work for quite some time.  This, along with the astronomical costs of fighting this horrific disease will put a large financial strain on her family.  Shauna, her husband Gary, and their girls could really use your help. 
Now I know this is the reason I am in Shauna's life.  I am here to help her the way she helped me and so many others.  Shauna runs a mission in Africa, volunteers at her church, helps with the local food banks and so much more.  She is an amazing woman.  Anyone who knows her will attest to that!
