Layla Lynn's Story
*UPDATE BELOW
On Monday, March 18th, 2-year-old Layla was rushed to Children's Hospital with a temperature of 107. She tested positive for Influenza A and it has attacked her brain causing her to have Necrotic Encephalitis. This is extremely rare. They haven't seen a case like this in 10+ years. Her case is extremely severe and the doctors have contacted other doctors from around the world trying to help little Layla.
She has had blood transfusions and has been in an induced coma. The doctors have given her a 50/50 chance of survival but only time will tell what her outcome will be. Layla is a fighter and has been showing small signs of improvement everyday!!!
Her parents, grandparents, family and friends have been by her side 24/7. She has a very long road of recovery ahead of her and will be in the hospital for at least a few months.
Please consider donating to Layla's family to help them get through this difficult journey. The money raised will help pay for medical care, bills and other expenses.
Please ANY AMOUNT will help and will be appreciated.
Please continue to pray, send good vibes and positive thoughts for Layla Lynn.
Thank you.
