Hi everyone! I'm Tina. A wife and mother of three. For some time now I haven't felt so great. My husband and I have spent the last 3 months, along with a team of doctors, to find out what was making me so ill. In April I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I thought what a relief. I finally have an answer, but the doctors wanted to test a little further. One week later on April 21st I was diagnosed with follicular Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. More specifically... Enteropathy Associated T Cell Lymphoma. A very rare type of cancer. This cancer started in my small intestine and has spread through my entire colon. This week I found out it is also in my lymph nodes in my abs, pelvic region, neck, and under my arms. We are waiting for the results of the bone marrow biopsy to find out the stage. This type of lymphoma is not curable but can be put into remission with a very aggressive and lengthy treatment. For the last 3 months we have spent $400 a week on average for appointments. Last week was $900 out of pocket. We have accumulated thousands in medical bills already. I have begun iron infusions, and very soon I will start chemo. My road to recovery is just begining. My family could use all the help we can get. God bless you all.
